"Good player but . cant get it to work sometimes"

I primarily use GOM media player. Three issues I would like help with: On an earlier version GOM remembered where I stopped and started at that point when I opened it again. But that feature does not work now even though I have it checked in preferences. Also in videos with more than one audio track I have to use VLC because I cannot figure out how to change audio tracks from another language to English with GOM, Thirdly, GOM on many videos doesn't display subtitles, so again I switch to VLC. Any help with these three issues is greatly appreciated
